Born in a small town in southern Sweden, I was fortunate to grow up in the only town with a university in the region. This environment exposed me to diversity from an early age, as the town was divided between the affluent and the less privileged.

My love for learning was nurtured by my mother, who worked at the town’s esteemed bookshop. Growing up surrounded by books was a dream, fostering a lifelong passion for reading. I developed a penchant for creativity, indulging in various artistic endeavours like painting, drawing, and photography, as well as culinary arts.

Driven by a determination to create the best opportunities for myself, I pursued three high school diplomas in business, science, and social studies. This foundation provided me with the flexibility to choose further studies without constraints. Ultimately, I obtained degrees in Psychology, Business Management and Finance, which proved invaluable in my career journey.

Driven by a desire for continuous learning, I learnt five languages, facilitating my pursuit of work opportunities overseas. I was recruited by American Express and relocated to the UK to establish a new department for the European market. My tenure in the UK exposed me to diverse experiences, from navigating the internet boom to working for other renowned corporations like Rolls-Royce.

In 2003, my journey led me to Australia, where I settled in Brisbane and embarked on a dynamic career path across various industries. From roles in sports management and operations at The University of Queensland to General Management and Chief Financial Officer roles, I’ve traversed finance, operations, HR, IT, marketing, risk management and more, across for-profit as well as not-for profit organisations.

Drawing from my extensive business expertise and conviction that my experience can have a greater impact by applying my skillsets differently, I ventured into entrepreneurship, initiating and managing multiple businesses. Now, my focus lies on sharing my wealth of experience and expertise, fostering connections, and empowering others to achieve their goals.
